A congresswoman named, Gabrielle Giffords of Tucson, Arizona was shot from point blank range in the head. At the time the congresswoman was holding an event for the first time called, Congress on Your Corner at the Sprint store near Safeway. Some conflicting reports have come out that Gabrielle Giffords has died and some reports explain that she is fighting for her life. The reports of how many people go from 12 people being shot and killed and in some reports are coming out that five were killed. The mood in Tucson, Arizona is somber and some are in shock. It has also been reported that one of the congresswoman’s aides has been killed as well.
